HERE'S KELLY'S PROCESS:

Consultation and Evaluation He’ll get to know you, your current state of wellness, and your goals.

Baseline Development: Kelly gets to know your body and its capabilities. This will be your “starting point.” Together, you’ll measure your success against this baseline set of measurements.

Your Personal Program: Kelly will develop a set of goals and objectives and an exercise program that can get you there. For nutrition, a meal tracking app helps you understand your food intake (for weight loss, building mass or just better eating). A detailed action plan will outline your path.

KELLY'S APPROACH TO PERSONAL TRAINING IS A WHOLE BODY APPROACH. IT'S ABOUT FITNESS AND NUTRITION. HE'LL HELP YOU WITH BOTH.

 

Weight Loss and Weight Management

For Kelly, weight management is not a diet program. It’s a lifestyle change. What’s why he’ll educate you about your food choices and the impact your diet has on your health in the short and long term. A program that’s personalized to your tastes is more effective. Individualizing a plan within his recommended guidelines helps the program fit you more exactly, for better success.

Strength and Cardio Conditioning

If you’re looking to build your strength and build up your cardio abilities, Kelly can create a personalized plan according to your goals. He can work around past or potential injuries in ways that keep you safe, yet still enable you to reach your goals. For cardio work, Kelly often sets up a program you can do on your own. He’ll work with you to establish proper techniques, monitoring and instruction (frequency, length of time). Then he’ll re-assess your goals and progress along the way.

Endurance Training

This is a more hands-on mix of strength and cardio. Kelly will work with you to bring out your weak points and improve upon them. He’ll monitor your personalized endurance plan to help you progress building at a steady rate.

Sprints
This is a 3-week push with a 1-week recovery. The plan includes in-gym attention and work on your own.

ATHLETIC TRAINING

THESE PROGRAMS ARE DEVELOPED FOR SPECIFIC TYPES OF ATHLETES. BECAUSE OF KELLY'S PERSONAL INTEREST IN TRIATHLONS AND COMPETITIONS, HE BRINGS A GREAT DEAL OF PERSONAL EXPERIENCE TO BEGINNER-AND MEDIUM-LEVEL TRIATHLON TRAINING.

 

Tri-athlete Training

This is hands-on training for Beginner to medium level triathletes. Because of Kelly’s affiliation with Blairwood, you also have access to spin classes and lap pools.

Weekend Warrior

This program will tailor the functionality of your workout toward your particular sport. Kelly will spend time on injury prevention. 

Children / Youth Training

This is a more sport specific program designed for middle school and high school aged athletes. Each program is tailored to the age, sport and skill level of your child. Kelly will focus on movements that are more sport specific, focusing on the fundamentals of exercise and the form and technique of the exercises. He also focuses on faster recovery and more endurance. He also focuses on drills that enhance hand/eye coordination.
